FThe elderly in Barbados are facing significant challenges in their day to day care. The days where our grand parents remained at home to be cared for my their children/grand children are no longer the norm.Â

Very often our elderly are deposited at the QEH and abandoned. Most government institutions are full to capacity and there are struggling to maintain quality care. In addition, we also have a growing number of private senior citizen homes, who are also few in number.

It is against this background that we started by opening a small senior citizen home. Our belief is that the elderly should be respected and given quality care.Â
